Description
Groxx GRXNG143 | Grade 316 Stainless Steel Threaded Hardware
The Groxx GRXNG143 Series encompasses our premium range of high-performance threaded bolts, specifically engineered for critical structural connections in fall protection and industrial safety systems. Manufactured from A4-70 (316 Grade) Stainless Steel, these fasteners offer the ultimate balance of tensile strength and superior corrosion resistance for the most demanding environments.
Material Properties & Durability
-
Grade 316 Stainless Steel: Known as “Marine Grade,” this alloy contains molybdenum, providing exceptional resistance to chlorides (salt spray) and industrial chemicals.
-
A4-70 Cold-Worked Strength: Precision-manufactured to meet a minimum tensile strength of 700 MPa, ensuring structural reliability under dynamic fall-arrest loads.
-
Anti-Galling Treatment: Optimized surface finish to reduce the risk of thread galling during high-torque installations.
Technical Specifications | M12 & M16 Options
Structural Advantage
The GRXNG143 series is designed to integrate seamlessly with Groxx G-Anchors, I-Brackets, and H-Frames.
-
M12 Options: Typically utilized for primary bracket-to-rung or bracket-to-clamp connections where precision and high shear strength are required.
-
M16 Options: Engineered for heavy-duty structural anchoring into concrete or primary steel members, providing maximum pull-out resistance for multi-user lifeline extremities.
Compliance & Quality Control
-
ISO 3506-1: Conforms to mechanical property requirements for corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners.
-
DIN 931 / 933: Available in both partially threaded (hex bolt) and fully threaded (set screw) configurations.
-
Traceability: Every batch is quality-tested to ensure material composition and load-bearing capacities align with global fall protection standards.
Application Guidelines
Installation Note: To ensure maximum service life and safety, Groxx recommends the use of 316 Stainless Steel Nyloc nuts and washers for all GRXNG143 installations to prevent vibration-induced loosening. In highly corrosive coastal environments, the application of a nickel-based anti-seize lubricant is advised during assembly.
