The Groxx GRXOIP800 is a heavy-duty wire rope guide pipe set engineered specifically for 800 kg capacity traction hoists. Installed at the entry and exit apertures of the hoist housing, these precision-formed tubes direct the wire rope smoothly into and out of the internal drive chamber. The GRXOIP800 protects both the cable and the outer hoist chassis from abrasion, preventing cable binding, housing wear, and entry of coarse jobsite debris.
Primary Functions
  • Precision Rope Guidance: Aligns the wire rope precisely with the internal sheaves and rope press mechanism, preventing sharp-angle entry and lateral scrubbing.
  • Chassis & Cable Protection: Acts as a replaceable wear buffer, preventing the high-tension steel wire rope from cutting into the hoist’s main alloy housing during off-axis pulls.
  • Debris Deflection: Serves as the primary external barrier to deflect concrete dust, paint overspray, grit, and water away from the internal drive chamber.
  • Smooth Transit Channel: Provides a low-friction, flared entry and exit pathway that prevents wire rope snagging, strand fraying, and burr formation during rapid vertical travel.
