The Basix Double Hook Lanyard with Shock Absorber is a high-reliability personal protective equipment (PPE) assembly designed for fall arrest applications. Engineered with a twin-leg design, this integrated energy absorber lanyard provides continuous fall protection—enabling workers to maintain a safe 100% tie-off position while traversing scaffolding, steel frameworks, and elevated industrial structures.
100% Tie-Off Twin Design: Features a double-leg configuration that enables workers to stay securely hooked to one structural anchor point while transitioning the second connector to the next point of safety.
Integrated Energy Absorber: Incorporates a specialized internal shock-absorbing module measuring 45mm in width. In the event of an accidental fall, the tearing web system deploys smoothly to dissipate deceleration forces, minimizing impact loads transferred to the user’s body.
Forged Steel Scaffold Termination: Equipped with two forged steel scaffold hooks (Model: H1201) at the terminal ends of the lanyard loops. These large-gate hooks provide easy, secure connections directly onto structural scaffolding tubes and overhead iron frameworks.
Harness Connection Interface: The anchorage-absorber end is fitted with a rugged steel carabiner (Model: C1101), providing a stable, high-strength connection to the back dorsal D-ring of a full body harness.
